They use an As400 , what looks like does is actually just an emulator (dumb terminal) :D And the reason they (and most other places) still use the as400 is because a.) windows sucks. b.) Linux (while immensly powerfull) is not yet mainstream enough. and c.) AS400 is one of the most stable and powerful platforms still on the market.

But, yeah it looks like dos I would freak out too
