A well-written, you've got here. A very realistic take on Sasuke's (most inner) thoughts as he slowly declines into insanity because of hatred. Your portrayal of how things went is very canon and fit well into Sasuke's character.

I did notice one mistake "He was waking up in Mist country to her voice. Her tears littered his face, and he groggily tells her he cannot hold her weight on him." How you desribed the scene, sound like wave mission after Haku used his senbon on him. And I can't remember that team 7 ever went to Kirigakure or Mizu no Kuni on mission.

P.S. I so agree about the second part of your disclaimer Sakura (and half of the other Naruto females) should kick ass more often.
