Why: Come on, would he really let him leave like that?
He watched the game shop as he'd been watching it for the past few days, casually, from a respectable distance. It wouldn't do to get caught now, would it? He was watching and he was waiting, because the longer he waited, the less he would be expected and the more he could observe.
There was a fixed pattern to Yugi's movements over the past few days, but this was the first day the pattern was broken. He assumed, of course, that this meant a drop in security, so naturally, it was the perfect time to try to get into contact with his wayward little hostage... not that he really thought of Yugi that way, but certain other elements were sure to assume.
Now all he had to do was to trail Yugi when the boy left the shop and create the opportunity to meet up.
