~CHAPTER TWO~
( Confrontation & Deal )
Days had passed and Yann was already done with what she had encountered with Chinen and Yamada during the first day of class. Kiki was still worried about her bestfriend. Yann was quite cold for a while. Chinen and Yamada was now more interest with Kiki. Yamada and Chinen were now as good as friends but were a bit competent to Kiki.
“Ne Yamato-san, school festival is near what are you plans?” Chinen asked Kiki.
Yann giggled and went out. Kiki covered her face as she remembered something.
“ Ehh? Something happened?” Yamada got curious and followed Yann outside. That time Chinen manage himself being with Kiki alone.
“ Why? What happened then Yamato-san” Chinen didn’t hesitate to ask.
“ Eh? Ano, I ate a lot before and I vomited at the Faculty Room. Mecha Hazukashii ne? The teachers saw it and Yann….Yann..”
“Yann?”
“ I,…..don’t know why were cold lately” She was about to cry when she saw something on the floor.
“That Yann again huh?” Chinen said to himself.
“ Eh? Nani kore?” Kiki stop from her little tears.
“ I think Yamada-kun owns that” Looking away.
“ Sou desu ka? I should return this to him”
Kiki and Chinen went together outside. At the same time Yamada was following Yann outside he began to ask her but it was a different question.
“Something happened between you and Hitomori-san right?”
“ Huh? What are you talking about?” Yann stopped walking.
Yamada went near where Yann was.
“It seems to be cold deshou?”
“ Betsuni”
“ After Chinen and I fought it was cold ne?”
Yann faced Yamada.
“ You don’t know anything”
“ I know, but you are just protecting Yamamoto-san”
“ What? “
Yamada pulled Yann and hugged her. He felt down but he couldn’t understand why he hugged Yann.
“Ya…Yama…Yamada-kun!”
“Its ok, I know how you feel”
“ HAAAAAAAA?” Yann pulled Yamada away.
“What the hell are you talking about? Like I said it has nothing to do with you or Kiki-chan” She blurted out.
Eyes and ears, Kiki just pretended that nothing happened. Yann never thought that Kiki and Chinen were around. Kiki was about to take a step forward right where Yann was standing but Chinen pulled her backwards. Yamada didn’t expect for Kiki to saw what he did. He wanted to gain trust to Kiki.
“Ya….Yann?” Kiki sounded weak.
“Wait, its not what you think Kiki-chan….”
“ You are done Aho…Hitomori” Chinen corrected himself right away.
“ Im not talking to you, listen Kiki-chan what you heard and what you see - it was nothing ok. Im sorry for being so cold these past days, I just realize that I don’t want to give burdens to you at all. It was all my fault and….”
“ No Yann, what you did was right. You didn’t gave me any burdens…I mean burdens? What are those things Yann?”
“Its just that I don’t want you to put in those situations again Kiki, and besides I know how you would feel when you’re down.”
“Right! Another Hero here huh?” Chinen said to himself.
“Yann, don’t worry about me ok?”
“ Kiki stop it!” Yann almost cried.
From that time on the two were not having this cold feeling towards each other. Yamada was glad for them but still he was wondering why he did that to Yann who was really confused about that.
“ See I told you, its just that you wanted to protect Yamamoto ne Yann?” as Yamada placed his hand on Yann’s shoulder.
“ Yann? Are you calling me Yann?”
“ mm!”
Yann gave his terrifying look to Yamada, while Yamada couldn’t speak any word afterwards.
“Ne, Hitomori-san, genki desu ka?”
“Haaa? Doushitano?” Yann and her black aura filled the entire place.
“ Iyaaaaaaaaaa. Nothing I …i….i…CHIIIIIIIINNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNN!!!!”
Yamada ran towards Chinen as fast as he could. Kiki was laughing while her tears were running down towards her cheeks. Chinen was just standing with Yamada in his back like a baby covering his face. Yann was just joking around after they forgive each other.
Right after the confrontation the four of them went back to their classes. Right after class Yamada waited in front of the gate. Kiki went home ahead of them. Chinen went on his own way. Yann attended her soccer practice every after class.
Maybe you’re wondering why Yamada was still waiting.
“otsukare!” Yamada greeted Yann right after her training. Yann was wondering why he was waiting for her.
“ ehh? You didn’t go with Chinen?”
“ Nope! He always goes home early!”
Yann didn’t mind that. She went back to the classroom to return her things in her locker. Yamada followed her. She feels awkward when some one’s starring and waiting for her like that. She decided to ask Yamada.
“ errr…aren’t you going home yet?”
“actually I am waiting for you”
“You should’ve told me earlier, I let you waited like for an hour.” Yann started to joke around
“ I have something to ask” He sounded serious
“ wow! Calm down. Wait I just need to change my clothes…so maybe you could wait for me…”
“Downstairs! Yeah!”
“ All right then”
From that time Yann was still confused but curious about what Yamada was about to ask.
“Omattase! Yo Yamada was is it then?” Yann jump behind Yamada while he was waiting in the lobby near the stairs.
“Bikurishita!”
“ So what is it?”
“ Ne, you see I like your best friend and seems you guys are really close I wanted to learn about her from you.”
Yann was surprise with his approach. Brave enough to ask her about the girl that he likes. Yann explained.
“ hmm…Yamada-kun, I think im the wrong person that you asked about it.”
“ Ehhh? But you’re the closest person to Yamamoto.”
“ well, im not against you for kiki-chan. But you see im not good with advises you know, why don’t you get to know her by yourself?”
“ I cant”
“What?”
“I said I cant. I know that Chinen likes her too, I don’t want to let him feel competent about me. Im being obvious. I need your help”
“Oh my! I think I should do my best about it.”
“Really?!! Wow! Thanks Hitomori”
“ BUT, here’s a thing. You’ll get bored with asking me soon”
“What do you mean?”
“ I don’t just talk about Kiki-chan, like…Im super Random. Everything that comes into my mind comes out from my mouth. Talkative I guess.”
“No problem.”
