I talked about it here, but I had been expecting someone from Genentech to talk to me about an internship opportunity. Finally, he called me yesterday to give me the details. Looks like I won't be doing much with Biology per se. I'll be entering data and making investigative conclusions for this guy whose project is behind. Not the ideal thing, but

I think NOT going insane just because you're turning 21 is a real sign of maturity.

Haha :P Yeah, it annoys me how all my friends are drinking every opportunity they can and flaunting that fact =-= I'm not against drinking or anything, just they make really bad decisions sometimes to look cool .. x:

As for your birthday plans, forget what "they" say. Not everyone has the same idea of fun. So, yeah, don't feel guilty that you're not doing anything "big" for your 21st.

Ah, I didn't do anything big for my 21st, and I still had a great time. I mean, I had a couple of drinks, but I didn't get drunk. My friends and I hung out like adults, and it was really fun. I don't regret any of it :D Not everybody is a partier, and if you want to stay at home for your birthday, I think that's what you should do!
