I remember the first time a guy told me he loved me. I was in 7th grade. His name was Phillip. And I was taken. He had just broken up with my best friend Jessica. Well actually they decided mutually that they weren't right for eachother. I mean she cut all her hair off for him. SHe was shorter than I am now and her hair was all the way down to her ( Read more... )

Love is a funny thing. Speaking as someone who has felt what you question, I can accurately say there are times when you just know that you love someone. The reason for dating is to gauge whether or not you could eventually like that person in a romantic way. But, there are people who will come along once and a while whom you connect to immediately. The interest evolves into emotions and the emotions evolve into the healthy obsession we like to call "love".

There are times when dating is not necessary because that person made such an impact on your soul. Dating would just be a speedbump on the road of affinity.

I think the horoscope doesn't necessarily refer to you not being yourself, but rather you guarding your emotions. It's the "mentual guard that you keep on your emotions." And call me crazy, but that sounds just like something you do, at least, when it comes to guys. Anyways, horoscropes really depend on how you interpret it, and that's just how I interpretted it relating to you. I'm not saying by any means that you should go out and tell every guy you crush on that you like him and whatnot. Because sometimes, it takes time to be sure if that favoritism can develop into anything or if you even want it to. My best suggestion in relationship to this horoscope is if you want to get on board, then express your true emotions for people. Be honest with them about how you feel about them, the world, everything. Just let people see more of the poetic artistic, emotion filled part of Brandy and what she's all about. Try to keep a balance of those different aspects and characteristics of yourself, so people not only see the true you, ( ... )

It brings a tear to my eye. Yeah, sometimes I do keep a guard on my emotions b/c sometimes I'm afraid to let people in and also I find it hard to express some emotions. I mean I didn't cry when my grandfather died. I couldn't b/c everyone was saying how I was gonna be the strong one and I was gonna the the one who holds everyone up. And I guess I didn't want to let the people who thought that down. And haley don't be afraid to be honest with me. I value your opinion more than that of anyone I know. You help me be a better person. Thank you.

Well, that was my take on it when I read it. Don't feel pressured like that though. You don't always have to be strong. When you feel weak, be weak. You'd be surprised at the people who will comfort you and it will strengthen bonds if you are true about your emotions.

I'll remember that. And hopefully, I won't end up hurting your feelings.

Uhm... you're welcome? ^_^;;;;
