Tears can’t stop falling from her eyes as the pen strike the white paper. Spring is about to come. Sakura trees are starting to bloom outside her window. The beauty of it that always made her happy can’t make it through her heart.
It would end today. Her high school would end today. Tomorrow is the start of another life for her. She wasn’t happy at all. She felt broken. Her heart shattered into pieces.
“It’s so sad that we have to part ways and continue our own lives.
And that would start tomorrow. They have to part ways and go on to their own dreams. She can’t insist to be with him even if she wanted. She can’t… she won’t
“And still I haven’t confessed what my heart is saying since I met you
It has been three years…three years since her heart beat for someone. Someone who was always beside her-yet she can’t tell what she feels inside. She paused for awhile and looked outside the window. The first thing that she saw was the Sakura tree.
The result for the high school entrance test passers was already on the bulletin board. Students from different junior high schools were in commotion.
She, on the other hand, was just standing under the shade of the sakura tree, waiting for the students to be washed out. She was just staring at nothing when she felt someone near beside her. the moment that she laid her eyes to him, unfamiliar yet warm feeling run down through her heart. He has a very nice aura him, smiling eyes though he wasn’t smiling.
‘Eh? A lot of students, huh. Wonder if I passed?’ the guy said that surprised her. Was he talking to her? He wasn’t even looking at her.
‘Unn..’ she doesn’t know what to say. What would she reply?
‘Hey! Let’s go now.’ her friend suddenly popped out and pulled her away. But before she lost her sight to him, she made a glimpse at the guy. To her surprise, the guy was smiling at her.

She passed on her first choice high school. While heading home alone, she was thinking about the guy she met-wondering if he passed, too.
‘Hi.’ She immediately looked beside her and met a familiar gaze. It was him! Her heart rejoices-but why? ‘Did I startle you?’
‘W-What do you think?’ she immediately looked away when she felt her cheeks burning when he smiled at her. That made her knees to weaken.
He chuckled. ‘I’m sorry. By the way, did you pass?’
‘Yes.’ She answered. ‘Y-You?’ hesitantly, she asked.
The guy gave out a sweet smile.
“Rejection is what I feared most. The reason why I kept this feelings for so long.
He may always right beside her. Yet she can’t reach for his heart. Heart which belongs to someone-someone who can never be her. Letting herself fall for a one special friend may be her biggest mistake. She cannot assure if it would lead good. That is why she kept it herself. She kept it all these years.
“For the first and the last time, let me tell you how much I love you…
Graduation day. It would be the last day of her high school. Probably the last time that she can see and talk to him. Tomorrow, she has to trek on her destined life. A life away from her motherland.
As a tear fell from her eye, she stood up. She headed outside their classroom, leaving her diary on top of his table. Spring wind blew and it opened her diary, the pages continue to shift until…
