What's the difference?

I am very close to finishing Final Fantasy IV on the DS.  I've been playing for a couple weeks now.  The bosses in the game aren't ones to mess around with, not even in the first battle.  If there's anything I learned, it's best if I don't look at the faq if I play it through the first time.  One look at one of them and I figure out that I missed a ( Read more... )

I think that's a load of crap. They're taking it entirely too far. Certain things (such as the infamous morning-after pill) are a more grey area, but something like birth-control, or even contraceptives in general, is in no way an abortion. Besides, with this country's stance-less stance on abortion, I'm surprised that they would even care. Yeah, it does seem weird the contraceptives mentioned are female-specific. I read somewhere that there may be birth control pills for men in the future as well.

This is the guy currently in charge of HHS.

My thoughts on this issue leaned towards 'what the heck' when I read the articles. It's been bugging me for weeks that I wanted to write about it. They're sure not scaring me.

And I appreciate your comment on this. Thanks, Kiku.

I vaguely remember playing FF2 & 3 on SNES. They were ridiculously hard. D=

There was a comment to that article that hit the idea right on the head:
If a doctor was to refuse service based on a personal ideal, he could lose his license, malpractice, etc. But if birth control is involved, it's okay. There are many women who use birth control just to regulate themselves, but many (I have yet to hear any positive) women have negative stories of pharmacy employees make snide comments since they think it's about contraception and not anything else.

All in all, I wish more guys would get snipped, instead of girls getting their tubes tied.
