A Rant: In the Defense of My Alma Mater

I've been kind of avoiding LJ for a while now because I knew that I was going to write this. I just didn't want to do it but know that I really should. It needs to be said. And I'm typing this with tears running down my face

I can't speak for the world, but I don't see Penn State as some horrible place. I see the ones who perpetrated and than perpetuated the heinous acts as the bastards. It could have easily been any number of places.

to me, at least, it seems that the media has run with the idea that it was Penn State. most of the time, they are calling it the Penn State scandal instead of actually naming the perpetrator.
