Yeah, the "\/-thingy" is indeed called "fan" in English. XDDDDD 扇 or ougi (pronounced [oogi]) should you want the japanese one. XD

But great that you had a good trip to German. ^____^ Although you got harassed by random men but maybe that wasn't so traumatising. XD
