Something like this happened to me last spring. PK (as we called her) started to hang around our house, and she seemed to be a stray who was abandoned when her family moved as she was overly social. We couldn't have her inside because of my mother's allergies, so we put a kennel on the back deck with a heating pad (for the cold weather) and bought her some kibble and toys, and she stuck around for months while we looked for a home for her.

Yea, this is the second stray cat that has wandered into our hearts that needs a good home.

Last summer my sister and her friend found a little gray kitten (he's in my icon,) and luckily we found a nice home for him pretty fast.

I haven't decided what to call him yet. I'm tempted to call him something like Severus or Blaise, since I still have Harry Potter on the brain. :D;

He is very handsome, and very friendly and affectionate. If I had my way, we'd adopt him this second. :|
