A/N: So it's been a while, guys... Hi there! I'm not dead xD
Please excuse any OOC-ness.
As much as Nino wanted his days off to come faster, he would grow more anxious as they approached. The five of them would scatter. ‘Flung far into their own different universes,’ is how Aiba would probably put it, erratically moving his finger in little [or big] circles through the air to illustrate these ‘universes.’ Nino was a small person, and showed his affection through little actions, but sometimes he wondered if it was enough, if the message got across. It took Ohno and a phone call to make him realize that their universes weren’t so far apart after all.

Ohno never had much to say; he felt oddly detached from it all, like he was just watching the world move without him. He didn’t feel the need the include himself and was content just to watch. It was an interesting world, and every moment held something new. He tried to put these moments on paper. Maybe one day, he could share these moments with laughter. That’s what he thought, until Nino barged into his life. Nino was a mood-maker, he moved things around and made them fit. And Ohno realized happy was being part of that shining, sparkling world.

Aiba loved Christmas festivities-the lights, the kids running in the streets, the warm cinnamon-y smell that would emanate from bakeries-he loved all of it. Growing up, his friends often said that his birthday must be unsatisfying. He didn’t understand them; instead of just him getting presents and feeling special, everyone did. Weren’t two smiles better than one? Of course, sometimes he felt lonely; Christmas was to be spent with family, and some families lived far away. Few would visit. But as he looked through photos he’d decorated with stickers and numerous new emoticon-filled text messages, his smile was huge.

It had been one of those days. Ones where you wake up, and your pet turtles are dead. Where you trudge outside in the midst of a snowstorm to go to school, and it seems like you’ll never make it. Where once you get to school, you find the doors locked, the lights off, the building abandoned, and you know that all you have to look forward to is more snow in your shoes and soaked socks. One of those days that need added magic to make everything better. In Jun’s case, that magic involved Aiba and kittens and baking.

Being clumsy isn’t easy. It degrades one’s self-confidence and makes one completely paranoid that he’s going to mess up or break something. Even with all this in mind, Sho decides to do something he’s never done before: knit. Forgetting the time, he spends half a day at an arts and crafts store deciding on colors, before rushing home to grab the money he didn’t bring with him. Ears burning, he finally buys the yarn, knitting needles, and books with tutorials. Two months later, he presents the group with mangled, blob-like mittens. At least Ohno has the consideration to not comment.
