I'm catching up with fics each time somebody is posting or asking about an older one, so I just read the previous posts and this one in a row, and now I'm craving for more! You told so well of the sorrow, loneliness, betrayal Akihito feels. I love how he takes refuge in his dream state. I first thought of his rescuer as a simple passer-by, but I should have known better; who would have a walk at this time of night in such shady surroundings?
Ah, I wonder about what follows. Sure Asami's going to see that as another kidnapping! And will Shinji still see Aki as a cutie in distress when he knows he's his rival's treasure? BTW, I guessed immediately of the kissed lady as being a close relative to Asami, for I can't imagine him feeling love for a woman, or anybody else but Akihito...
