"It's so quiet..." Asami silently whispers to himself as he stares out to the city through the window in his office.
In my darkest state of mind
I am riddled with despair
With a bourbon in hand he heaves a heavy sigh as he remembers something he would rather forget.. all he wanted to remember is the sound of his voice... his face... and his smile....
When I try and close my eyes

Bullets were flying everywhere; even in the middle of the night, both parties are trying to take each other down and the smell of fear and blood hangs in the air. Left and right bullets scatter, making an almost beautiful scene of sparks that is now lighting the once quiet streets of Tokyo.
As they say, no one can be sure of what will happen in the future... not even the most powerful man in whole of Japan. It all seemed a natural day, like any other day. But little did Asami know, a disaster would befall the one he loves the most.... the only one he has come to love and treasure for once in his empty prisoned life.
On a black limousine, Asami and Akihito are quietly enjoying each others presence. The older of the two has just picked up his energetic and sometimes-bashful lover on their way home. It looks quite unnatural that Asami, who can't keep his hands to himself, didn't do any perverted things when he's with Akihito that even Kirishima thought something was wrong. To ease his curiousity, he takes a quick glance on his mirror, and checks the two lovers at the passengers seat, and there he sees Asami casually reading reports with a slight grin and somewhat relaxed expression. Moving his gaze down, Kirishima takes notice of the bundle of mass on his boss' lap.

"I can't believe this happened... how could i let this happen... how could i...", Asami says to an empty dark office while holding his forehead with his right hand that is slightly trembling... he's trying his best to hold back... 'What am i trying to surpress... tears? i never thought i could still cry after all this years... but i won't do it... he would laugh at me if he find out...' even through his bitterness, he laughs a bit.
Akihito is very sound asleep, using his lover's lap as a pillow, and he seems to be practically snuggling closer to his boss. Who would have thought, he could ever see a scene like this especially when it concerns the two. Actually, Kirishima is slowly getting used to seeing those two like that ever since they got back from Hong Kong... But..
To keep thinking about his boss' love life doesn't matter at the moment. What's more important is the uneasiness he kept feeling since he had picked up the two.
He noticed that something feels weird around the area, even though it’s really late there should still be cars around. They reached the intersection and as they passed through, Kirishima sees a white van suddenly speeding up towards their direction. It's already late to fully evade the car, he thought. ''Damn it!'
"Asami-sama!!!!" he quickly warns his boss and with all his strength he stirs the steering wheel to the left, trying to make sure the van won’t crash with the side of the car where his boss is at with his lover. Even if he ends up being crushed instead.

It happened so fast that, the moment he heard Kirishima call his name in a serious tone, the only thing he could think about is he's lover's safety. 'Akihito...' without wasting any second he quickly dragged and pin his lover to the limo’s floor, his whole body shielding Akihito from all harm of the impact.
The coming car hit them full force from the side, making the limo crash on to the nearby building's glass window and also breaking the windows beside Kirishima. He tried to shield himself before the impact but he can't escape getting hurt and his head was bleeding that made his vision blurry. All he could do and think of what to do is to call for Suoh. His trembling hand reached for his phone and speed dialed him. After a few rings, he heard the voice from the other end and he smiled, ‘Suoh…’“Hello? Kei?”
“….”
Kirishima, couldn’t talk but he knows that Suoh understands the silence. As he try to move a little, he takes a sudden intake of breath when he felt the pain on his left shoulder, he's in trouble more than he thought he could be.
“Hang in there, we’re coming! Do you hear me?! Please! Just hold on! I’m coming for you!” Along with the sound of the line being cut off, he drifts off to unconsciousness.
Somewhere near them, two men stare down at the limousine as it crashed through the glass window. As minutes fly by with no one coming out of the car, one of them finally speaks...
"Call them." said the man with an evil grin.
With a few press of a button, the other man speaks to his subordinate.
"It seems the plan was successful, but order the men to stand by a few meters away. Wait for my order to attack."
"Understood" said the man on the other end.
"If he's still alive i'm sure he would call for backup."
"Well, then let's wait for those dogs and have some fun shall we? Ha ha ha..."
Meanwhile, inside the limo..

“Ughh.. That hurt..” Coughing slightly, Akihito tries to push himself up, but he pauses as he feels something on top of him. Something heavy and...
“A-Asami?! What the hell happened?!”
Asami pushes himself up off Akihito and groans, I must have sprained it when i hit the floor... Damn...' Even though it hurts a bit but he didn't mind the pain on his left arm, something is more important than his own arm, he silently thought.
With his hands placed directly on both sides of Akihito, he frowns and asks his lover with worried eyes, “Hey, are you alright?”
“I-I… should be the one asking you that!” He quickly answered and looks Asami over, checking for injuries.
Seeing the panic in his lover's eyes, he says and smirks a bit “I’m fine, Kirishima did his job well.”
“Phew... good... but, what happened Ryuu?” Asami didn’t answer but he simply looks out of the window, and saw a few unmarked vans coming to their direction which parked a few meters away from them. With quick movements he grabs Akihito and tries to open the door but he was stopped by Akihito.

"W-what now?"
“Akihito, it's an ambush.. so listen carefully.. I want you to run as far away as possible from here and hide. Do you understand?”
“.......” Seeing his worried reaction, Asami went out of the car as well and grabs Akihito by the arm. "No!"
“Just run damn it and hide somewhere!”
More worried than ever, Akihito shakes his head frantically. Whatever the circumstances were, he’s dead set on staying with his lover.
“No way in hell am I leaving you!”

“Fuck! For once listen to me!” He says much louder this time making sure Akihito knows how desperate he is to make sure his Akihito won’t be harmed at all cost." “Let’s go Asami!” After finally understanding the danger of the situation he grabs Asami’s arm and tries to run away with him but Asami didn’t move.
”No… you have to leave by yourself… they’ll follow us. If you get out of here now, you’ll stay safe. So, go!”
“Are you deaf?! I said I’m not going to leave you!”’ No I won’t leave him… damn it… I’ll rather die…’
'He's too stubborn... sigh.. I can't...' Asami frowns and speaks “Alright… But i need you to calm down and sit down for a moment."
“Ehh? But why? We have to--”
”Just do it!”
Even though he was confused about the request he followed Asami inside the limo and sat down. Suddenly he's pinned down onto the car seat with Asami looming over him.

“W-what…is it?” He was dumbfounded but still he stares back at Asami’s wanting eyes. Asami slowly lowers himself closer making Akihito’s eyes widen and when he opened his mouth to speak, Asami covers them with a kiss making Akihito groan as he feels like he's drowning. He didn’t know what happened next, all he could hear was “I love you Aki…” being whispered over and over again in his ear as his consciousness slips away.
Determined at all cost to protect his lover, he gets out of the limo and closes it behind him. He didn’t want to trick his lover but he left him with no other option.
He suddenly remembered Kirishima and he quickly went to the front of the car. His subordinate hasn’t come out yet of the limo and he felt something in the pits of his stomach. ‘This doesn’t look good…’

Opening the car door, he saw Kirishima unconscious on the driver’s seat with his head bleeding. He checks his condition and he gives a sigh of relief. ''It looks like he’s still alright but he needs medical attention as soon as possible... He's bleeding too much...'
"What?" He says suddenly when he notices the cellphone left open on the car seat near Kirishima. He picks it up and reads the name on the screen and sighs.
"Hang in there Kirishima, they'll be here soon." Hurry Suoh...
Meanwhile, back on the rooftop...
"His men are here... Tell them to move out!"
"Right away, Sir."
'it's finally your time to die Asami... Ha ha ha...'
Back inside the limo, Asami is about to go out of the limo to face his enemies head on alone, when five black cars came to an abrupt stop beside their limo. Black suited guys hurriedly came out of the said vehicles, looking ready for a bloodbath.
Seeing this, Asami hurriedly steps out to meet his subordinates.
"Asami-sama!” He shouts while running towards his boss.
“Suoh!”
“Are you alright?”
“I’m fine. They’re-“
Bang bang!!
Bullets started to fly towards them and they hid behind their cars for protection, and they fire back whenever they had the opportunity for a clear shot. It has finally begun and Asami and his men are committed to winning this match.
"Asami-sama, where’s Ke--, Kirishima-san?” Suoh suddenly asks, worry evident in his voice.
“He’s unconscious and still in front of the car.”
His expression turned even more worse but he calmly replies, “I see… and Akihito-sama?”

“He-… he’s still inside… The both of them will be safer there since its bullet proof. Suoh, call for more backup! We have to take them out as fast as possible.”
“Understood, Asami-sama!” After hearing the order, he does what he was told and called for more backup.
While calling, Suoh kept thinking of how he wanted so much to check up on his Kei but he couldn’t... He knows he is needed to protect his boss and he is more than willing to do so.
Suddenly, Asami had a bad feeling. He didn't know that it was a sign that in a few matter of seconds the unexpected and most feared incident is about to flash in front of his eyes.
“Asami-sama!!! Watch out!”
A guy was spotted behind them; he must have sneaked in the building during the shoot out that they didn’t notice at all.
After hearing Suoh shouting, some of the men grabs Asami towards the back and shoots the man down. Asami heaves a sigh of relief and was planning to start firing at their enemies again but then all of a sudden he stopped when he heard a loud sound coming from their car… then he could only stare at the silhouette running in front of him, looking desperate to block him from...

The said figure is shot at the shoulder, making him step back a little… But he stands straight again and he close his eyes when he felt the coming of another shot...

The last shot hit his arm.... It caused him to feel so numb and hurt at the same time as well as force his legs to give out making him fall to the ground with a loud thud... His blood kept gushing out his wounds… and all he could do was smile at the sky as he force himself to keep breathing on the cold cement.
