My sister is right now in her masters program, and she is curently doing a lot of research for her masters thesis. I am a psychology major myself, so I thought it would be very interesting to help her. So far she has found many interesting disorders that she might be interested in (from the DSM-IV). John Doe is the universally accepted way to name subjects who have no name. :-P However, I did hear once of someone actually named "John Doe". I wonder if when they submitted his name for the birth certificate, if the state told the parents that might not be a good idea...

I know that John Doe is how we name un-nameds. I was wondering if there might be a real person associated with this instance of "John Doe".

Not really. If you read the entry I'm just doing research on personality disorders as prep for my thesis, figured I'd play around with some of interest. Its all verbatim from the DSM-IV. Although... do you relate to any in particular? ^_~ j/k
