I want to know more about the background of this fellow. He seems like such an ass compared to Ryo-chan. Though Ryo-chan had a strange downward spiral before his death. Oh how I want Shige to be happy again~ D:
Yay updates! :D

He's pretty cold hearted though he has his reasons :3 Ryo was having some issues and sadly it ended that way :/

I'm excited to read more, and find out about the diary. ^^

You ended this chapter with a cliffhanger...after 5 seasons of Lost I should be used to this feeling of "thirst for knowledge"...but this is something I'll never get accustomed to!
I have this love/hate relationship with this kind of chapter (or episodes) endings...
Exception made for the ending, which is making me feel like when I finish watching an episode of Lost, (I think the lines above are enough to explain what my approach with cliffhangers are), I totally loved this chapter!
And I totally love Ryo's character with all his insecurities.
...and I totally want to know more!...

I'm glad you liked the rest of the chapter though ^^ Ryo really was a sweetheart. :(

It'll reveal more about her and how they got there. :)

Poor Shige. Having to see his lover being killed is probably the worst thing that can happen. If someone dies right in front of your eyes and there is nothing you can do and guilt is hunting you down for a long time because maybe, just maybe, you would have been able to save his life.. I want to hug Shige now. Really.

This is one of the times when the title really makes sense with the story. After something like that happens you can't help but wonder what would have happened if you had done something differently
