Holiday weekend and sad SMAP news
Hello my dear friends,
how are you doing? I wasn't online for the whole weekend, because I was on a short holiday trip together with lilly0.
We drove to Italy just to relax for one weekend. <3 We went to San Daniele where we booked a small B&B.
It was just perfect for a calm and relaxing time.
We went swimming in the river Tagliamento and we made a small walk around the Lago di Cornino:
It was really relaxing, and now I am back home and I still have two days holiday before I need to jump into work again. ;)
We had Internet in our B&B so we got the news about SMAP and their disbanding. It was really kind of shocking. I wasn't one of the fangirls who believed in something big this year, but I had the hope that they'd make a tour in autumn.
I don't understand their decision because: why now? Last year they had the big discussion because of leaving the agency and in the end all remained in Johnny's. Back then I thought: Okay, they have always had a problem with JE, but in the end they stayed in JE as a group. I always knew that they didn't like each other pretty much, but I had the feeling that they found a way to work together on a professional way. My feeling was always: Them against JE.
So I am a little bit confused right now. Why did they dsband now? What happened between them? My feeling is, that they ended in a huge fight which led to the end of SMAP. I just worry that they made harum-scarum decision. I can't understand why they ended like this after 25 years. Why did they officially disband? Why didn't they stay together as SMAP and just stop their activity? I am not sure if this is a good way they chose.
And I have the feeling that some of them aren't happy with this end. The statements were really interesting and I think that especially Kimura wasn't happy with how this was going.
What will happen to them now? They'll make solo projects, but what kind of solo projects? I especially wonder what Goro and Tsuyoshi will do in the future? What about Shingo? Nakai has his variety shows and Kimura has his acting, but the others?
I am really curious what we'll hear about the members in future. I just hope that this way is really what they wanted to do.
It's really sad that they end up like this, and after Kat-tun it's the second band disbanding, which I always liked. (I know Kat-tun is 'only' on hiatus, but I have the feeling that they won't return...)
Of course we have to respect their decision, and I wish all of them the best, and that it's really the way they wanted to go, but in the end it also makes me enourmous sad that entertainment loses this band.
