Yet another edition of "Yuki Can't Decide What To Write About, So She Just Plots Endlessly And Never Writes Anything"
I just wanna get my plot ideas written down. Maybe I can then look at this entry later and go "oh yeah!" and actually start writing.
Magic Kaito/Familiar of Zero crossover
While escaping after another successful heist, Kaitou Kid finds himself summoned to a world of magic and dragons and two moons. Seriously. Two moons.
I wrote up a lingual and cultural analysis about Zero no Tsukaima in my head that I really need to put down, possibly on tumblr. I dislike it when Zero crossovers pretty much don't change the basic introduction (summoned person is a commoner, Louise mistakingly casts a translation spell). First, prestidigitation would be viewed as magic in this world, because no one would ever think to look for a trick. Second, I love language barriers. Love love love. And the idea of someone learning a new language. With a genius like Kaito, though, learning enough of the local languages to communicate shouldn't be too hard.
Final Fantasy VII
Cloud suffers a serious injury while on a mission with Zack and Sephiroth. Things happen, causing Sephiroth to look up how an underaged kid managed to get into the SOLDIER exam in the first place, and he uncovers a company-wide conspiracy that, of course, involves Hojo. Takes place during Crisis Core.
I am a shameless Seph/Cloud fangirl. No regrets. Therefore, this story will somehow involve that pairing. SOMEHOW.
Detective Conan
Magical twins go!
Inspired by Jo's Inconceivable series, features Shinichi and Kaito raised with the knowledge that they're twins, and conspire together to rout out those that killed their mother, and discover just who their true father is.
Features twin-switching (inspired by darkangel.mya's Reflections), magical twin-sense, canon pairings (though I'm toying with that, too. I blame Jo and Icka), and no Conan (because Shinichi would already be wary of men in black, unlike in the first episode). Also features genetic experimentation, angst, and grey!Shinichi (one who would do anything, short of killing, to bring the Black Org down, much like Kaito).
Star Ocean III ('Til the End of Time)
The war between Airyglyph and Aquaria takes a dramatic turn when a spaceship crashes into Elicoor II, breaking in half, with either half going to each country. In Airyglyph's half, Albel finds a strange room with blue-haired people in tubes, and wakes the only survivor of the ship, who immediately imprints on him. Now it's up to the Captain of the Black Brigade to teach this strange kid how to be a person.
I like Fayt/Albel. Seriously. It is such an awesome pairing how could you not love it. Their interactions in the canon game are just so sarcastic and perfect I love it.
...I diverge.
This would be an AU where the whole Eternal Sphere thing doesn't exist; it's all one big universe. But the Vendeeni are still seeking the symbologically advanced human weapons created by the Leingods. An attack is launched on their main research ship, the ship manages to escape, but pretty much crashes into a planet, Elicoor II, breaking in half during atmospheric entry. Most everyone dies on impact. The failing power supply also means that there isn't enough to keep all the experiments alive, so Robert, in his last moments, has to pick one.
Albel leads an exploration team into this strange floating fortress, finds Fayt, and reluctantly adopts him, since the boy's imprinted on him due to lack of programming (not enough power).
Meanwhile, Maria, the prototype, is trying to find the ship, in order to either rescue or destroy her younger siblings. The former if they can prove to be real people, the latter if they turn out to be mindless weapons.
Eventually, Fayt gets wrapped up in the war, discovers, along with everyone else, that he pretty much has godlike powers (and wings! because who doesn't like wings?), and has to deal with the fact that he just might not be as human (or Elicoorian) as everyone else.
SERIOUSLY WHY HAVEN'T I WRITTEN ANY OF THESE
