They just keep coming and coming.
So many of them.
SO MANY.
So I'm posting them here. Again. Maybe I'll go back and write them someday.
Or maybe someone else will pick them up and write them.
I dunno.
Star Ocean III/Zero no Tsukaima crossover
Fayt is magically summoned to a primitive world on a continent called Halkeginia. This is quite new for him. So now he gets to deal with a girl who seems convinced he's her Familiar, a society that seems to have forgotten two elements, and Void Magic, which is unnervingly close to his Destruction ability.
Obviously, there won't be any issue with Fayt not being able to understand everyone else, because Universal Translators. As for the magic...Star Ocean works off the four basic elements, but includes Light and Dark. With how Symbology and elemental combination works in Star Ocean, the rules of magic of Zero no Tsukaima can be easily manipulated. Like how water can heal, but not all those with water affinity can heal. That's because in order to heal, it has to be combined with the Light attribute and...And I'm rambling.
Anyway. The only true "void" spells that Fayt knows are what he, Maria, and Sophia can do. So while he still has some leftover anxiety about being experimented on, it would probably be good for him to know that he's not unique.
Star Ocean III AU
There is an advanced race (as yet unnamed) that is divided into three castes; Creation, Alteration, and Destruction. This race is convinced that they are the master race and have been slowly conquering the galaxy, exterminating all threats to their people as they go. This, of course, includes sentient, spacefaring races. Things were going quite normally, until they reach Federation space.
Fayt is a soldier of the Destruction caste, tasked with Destroying all trace of non-...uh...angel? whatever I end up calling their race...civilization. So that soldiers of the Creation and Alteration castes can be brought in to colonize these "new" worlds. Fayt, meanwhile, is starting to doubt what he's doing, mainly because he's being forced to kill innocents.
Maria (of the Alteration caste), meanwhile, has already defected and is leading a rebellion group to fight off her own people and try to save as many innocents as she can. Because fuck the police. Or something.
Again, I'd make this a Fayt/Albel story because I love this pairing too much.
No.6 AU
Well, I talked about this on tumblr, but I'm not sure that I ever posted it here, oh well.
Magic AU. No.6 is a magic academy focusing on summoning. There's the lower class summoners, who summon animals, middle class summoners who summon elementals, and upper class summoners who can summon Eidolons, intelligent, otherworldly creatures that can't be killed, and which wield great power.
Nezumi is, of course, a lower class summoner who can summon rats. And Inukashi summons dogs. Obviously. Shion is taking classes to become an Eidolon summoner. Safu, too. What no one tells anyone is that contracting an Eidolon has a 10% survival rate. And those who do survive are carted off to be soldiers in a secret war. Or something. Nezumi finds out and, of course, wants to prevent Shion (and Safu, too, but only if Shion asks) from summoning an Eidolon, because he doesn't want to bet on that 10%. Nezumi tries to rescue Shion, but arrives a tad too late; the summoning contract is already underway. Shion obviously survives, and manages to make a contract with a giant red snake. Because parallels. But now Shion's in Nezumi's care and hidden from No.6, who want to make him into a killing machine. Safu also survives her contract (with Elyurias, because why not), but is swiftly carted off. So now Shion wants to go and rescue her, and Nezumi, of course, has to tag along to make sure Shion doesn't get himself killed doing something stupid.
I...don't really know much else about this AU. But magic and summoning, come on. And the other magical institutes deal with other types of magic, like No.5 would be elemental control (not summoning). No.3 would be buffing and debuffing and that sort of thing and I don't know, it's probably not that important. I just like fleshing out my worlds.
So yeah, look, more plunnies.
