Moving sucks, I recall leaving my apartment behind at state, it was basically me getting all my stuff out and my roommate had already moved into his new apartment and used the old one as storage for the summer, I just told him to pay the rent so we don't get charged anythign extra and that was pretty much it.

What's really fun is trying to get your half of the payment for the bills, when you no longer live together. Its like they wash their hands of bills as soon as they leave, hooray roommates.
