leaves, sky, rain, and others

The other day I was in a terrible mood. I had a bad day at work and I just felt really crappy. And then I saw a tree with huge leaves. I pulled one of the leaves off and examined it. It was almost the biggest leaf I've ever seen. It was bright green and I could see all the little veins in it. One side was totally smooth and the other was fuzzy like

i had the same sort of experience with a leaf :)

nick and i had a fight and i went outside and sat on a picnic table. there was a leaf there and it was all crinkly and it was torn in places. but it was still a leaf. it reminded me that our marriage may be hard and occasionally hurt, but it's still a marriage.
