Kinda for my own reference since no one really cares. 8D Ganked from plenty of other people. ♥
Fic year in review meme:
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Considerably less, actually. :/ Considering the bajillion projects I've started and just never finished and/or am still working on. ._.; Plus school's been a bitch. But I've actually done quite a bit more than last year. ^^V
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2006?
D.Gray-man~ 8D Most likely because I didn't know it existed back in January~
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
I'm lame. Almost all my fics this year made me happy (maybe because I only wrote....19 or so fics and several drabbles throughout the year?) :] "Re-Rejuvenated" always makes me happy. And "Of Sugars and Creams" and "Petit Rivalry" are probably my favorites for this year--the three of them.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
Tried a bunch of new styles (I've actually submitted to using parenthesis--never did that before :x) and techniques. So much so that I can't remember my old style. 8D Which is a good thing because my old style was horrible. ♥
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
Somehow finish all the stories I've started and neglected. ._.; Aaaah, so many and for so many fandoms~ I just don't know what to prioritize. u.u;
From my past year of writing, what was...
My Favorite Story:
Petit Rivalry (D.Gray-man)
Of Sugars and Creams (Loveless)
Re-Rejuvenated (Naruto)
My Best Story:
I...have no idea, so I'll use my ff.net stats for my 2006 stories. *is useless*
Capture the King! (Naruto) --> most popular (hits/comments/faves)
In terms of my own effort and skill, I think probably "Of Sugars and Creams" or "Mission Accomplished." Both were easy to write and I think I polished them a few times too (I...don't seem to do that often. *cough*).
Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe:
Eeh. No clue. Maybe "Simple Placidity" (Hikaru no Go). Why is it that people stray away from those subtle-relationship types? . .; Or it's just the way I write it. Not enough detail? Boring? Maybe.
Most Fun:
For me in the process of writing, probably "Re-Rejuvenated." Most likely because I got to think of fun ways to reverse everything that is a stereotypical KakaSasu fic. 8D
Most Disappointing:
Since my activity was pretty low, I don't have too many disappointing fics. ^^V (If I had done this last year, I would have jumped on so many. >_>) Maybe "Request and Re-approach Chronicles" (Naruto) because, clearly, I was smoking something.
Most Sexy:
I-I've been quite docile this year. ._.; Nothing very pr0nish at all. Was tempted to write something extremely pr0nish though. Just...probably would have died while writing it. I'll try to get up there though? *doesn't know if that's a good or bad thing* I can write innuendo!fic though! 8D That would be "Almost Awry." Yes. Handcuffs, drugs, and everything. (Sounds weird. ._.)
Story with a Single Sexy Moment:
8D... "Of Sugars and Creams"? Youji and Natsuo get to molest Kio? D-Does that count? ._.;
Hardest to Write:
AS;DLFKJD;SLKD POSSIBLY ALL OF THEM. "Misunderstandings and Misadventures" because I was just way too rusty on Tenipuri and "Fall of the Moon" because after a while, I kept thinking, "Oh god. This is such a lame fic."
Most Unintentionally Telling:
...I...don't think I completely understand that question. 8D Uhm. Sometimes the way I write my plots are pretty intentionally vague at the end (because, after too many years of honors/AP English, I tend to create scenes that need to be analyzed . .; ) and my descriptions are...detailed. In conclusion: ...I can't answer this question! 8D *rambles*
