{drabble} something else kyuhyun/ryeowook
Ryeowook flops onto the couch, sighing heavily. It has been, yet again, another tiring day for him. Good thing it's holiday the next day so he can sleep like a log. He hopes.
"How's your day?" Kyuhyun asks him, emerging from somewhere while holding a glass of iced tea.
"Is that for me?"
"No, but--"
Ryeowook glowers.
"But of course I was kidding! I made this especially for you, you know." He hands the glass to the other, sitting on the other end. "You're scary when you're tired."
Ryeowook rolls his eyes then takes it with a feeble smile on his face. He finishes it until the last drop and in one go. He puts the empty glass atop the center table, and then he lies down, with his head on the armrest. He stretches his short legs, laying them on Kyuhyun's lap.
"Do you mind if I stay like this for an hour or two, you know, I'm really tired..."
Kyuhyun just shakes his head, and starts massaging Ryeowook's feet. The elder basks in the relaxation, closing his eyes. He's too tired to initiate a conversation with the other, but still tries to. "Kyuhyun-ah,"
"Hmmm?"
"Don't you get tired?" he mumbles groggily.
"I do, just like you, just like everyone else." He answers succinctly. He knows something is bothering the other, but does not press on. Instead, he continues to massage his feet and his calves.
A moment of silence, though not awkward, fills the room for a moment. Kyuhyun glances at him to see if he has fallen asleep, but to his surprise, he finds him sobbing quietly.
"Ryeowook.."
"Everything gets more tiring everyday, it's like a cycle and it hurts."
"I know, just bear with it."
"I can't."
"Sure you can, I'm here."
Ryeowook dabs his eyes with the sleeve of his shirt. He stares at Kyuhyun, contemplating whether or not to tell him his dilemma, though he thinks that the younger has an idea already of what he's going through.
"You really don't have to do this, but I need this, so I won't tell you to stop."
"The massaging?"
Ryeowook nods, but they both know he means something else.
a/n lmao idk why i came up with this all i know is that i'm very very tired from school today sobs ;; i'm thinking of making this a chaptered fic but hahaha let's see what happens in the future lol 8D
