Ive found though that most cats, even after trained to sit on your shoulder have a habit of pushing their tail lifted behind toward your face, causing you to lean away, causing them to push harder and plant claws. Its one of those occasional no win situations.
Al though when they are kittens its endlessly cute to have one live on your shoulder while you work on the computer.
