Comments: The Decemberists have long been a favorite of mine -- their songs are complex and beautiful, and have a story all their own. From this album, I've nominated two songs, O Valencia! and Yankee Banyonet (I Will Be Home Soon) because I am absolutely fascinated with what people could do with it -- gangsters in love! Doomed love! The Civil War! Unexpected pregnancies! Ghosts! ... And so on.

Comments: I'm going to be honest here. I've had a life-long crush on Nathan Hale, and this comic has the most crush-worthy Nathan Hale ever. And there's also a time-travel romance! Those are fun.
