Comments: First: ignore the fact that the title makes it sound like it has anything to do with brothers at all. This 1975 shojo classic, my friends, is all about the lesbian high schoolers. It's by Ikeda Riyoko, better known as the author of Rose of Versailles, and can fairly be described as a narrative with only token men. I imagine it might appeal to people who like Utena; it's something of a spiritual forerunner to that show, although without the surrealism. It should also appeal to people who like to suffer at the hands of stories. I know that's you, fandom. It's a complete melodrama.
