Comments - By far the most popular is the first novel, The Prisoner of Zenda, which is a fabulous swashbuckling romp which has been adapted and parodied to within an inch of its life and is still fantastic. It's that story where that guy goes abroad and discovers that he is the exact double of the king who happens to be in deadly peril... you know the rest. This is where it all started. Rupert of Hentzau, the sequel, picks up three years after The Prisoner of Zenda stops, and is more of the same, except it's a lot gloomier and lots of people get killed off. The Heart of Princess Osra, the short story collection, is a bit odd by comparison: it's set 150 years earlier and describes various episodes in the titular princess's love life.
