Now that nominations are done and sign-ups are just on the horizon, here's a post where you can advertise your fandoms to the rest of yuletide. Tell us about your fandom(s) and link to sources you think will help a new fan interested in checking it out or an old fan looking for canon refreshing. All of my fandoms this year are really small canons that are pretty easy to catch up on. I didn't even plan it that way! The first two are films:

Big Eden: A romantic comedy about a quirky gay-friendly town full of amateur matchmakers in rural Montana. It's completely unrealistic and I love everything it chooses to be. All the characters are flawed and human and charming, and they all genuinely care about each other. It's not really streaming on Netflix, even though they claim it is, because the file's been messed up for ages. But it's available on Amazon and lots of libraries own it.

Santa Claus: The Movie: A 1985 family-oriented Christmas film starring John Lithgow as the villian toymaker, and Dudley Moore as one of Santa's elves. It's pretty cheesy, ngl, but I have loved it since I was a tiny Caroline. It is available streaming on Netflix, and if you love Christmas movies I encourage you to give it a try.
