Comments: This movie was released here in Iceland couple of years ago and straight away it became one of my favorite Icelandic movies. It portrays teenagers in a quite honest way, aided by the superb performances of the teenaged actors. The movie is based on a couple of YA novels but I think the movie is an improvement though it goes a bit darker than the books (for instance, an intended suicide becomes an actual suicide). I'm very intrigued by the main character, Gabriel, who keeps his secrets close to his heart but his friends like to confide in him.
