Comments: IMDB Summary: Road to Morocco is an 1942 American comedy film about two fast-talking guys (Bing Crosby and Bob Hope) tossed up on a desert shore and sold into slavery to a beautiful princess (Dorothy Lamour). Jeff and Turkey, two wild and crazy guys adrift on a raft in the Mediterranean, are cast away on a desert shore and hop a convenient camel to an Arabian Nights city where Turkey soon finds himself sold as a slave...to luscious Princess Shalmar of Karameesh. Naturally, Jeff would like to rescue Turkey from this "dire" fate, even if it means taking his place! This is the third in "Road to . . ." movies, but I always liked it the best.

Holy cow! I had no idea there was a 4th book in the series!

The Headless Cupid was one of my childhood favorite books. Just awesome!

:D The fourth was really funny. I loved the series a lot as a kid, and I once wrote a fan letter to the author, who was really nice in return.

Check your local library for the Stanley kids. Some of these are still on the shelves, or you can try interlibrary loan.

Stanley Kids - These have been on my short list on and off for years and never made it into my nominations. \o/

ETA: The first one is available for preorder on the Nook and Kindle, due out October 23. No sign if or when they'll be releasing the others.
