Walking and Talking: A Nicole Holofcener film about two women living in New York City who have been best friends from childhood and who, now that one has moved in with her boyfriend, still call each other ten times a day. Amelia (Catherine Keener) is the one who's still single and is good friends with the oddest of her exes, Andrew (Liev Schreiber); Laura (Anne Heche) just got engaged to Frank (Todd Field). That engagement shifts the dynamics of all of the relationships, particularly the bond between Amelia and Laura. It's adorable and the main friendship really rings true - it's complicated and a push-pull. Featuring Kevin Corrigan (Professor Professorson from Community) as the video-store clerk Amelia hooks up with.
