Fandom: Star Trek: Hidden Frontier
Category: Movies (although it's actually a fanfilm series, work with me here)
Comments: Ahem, this isn't the smallest of fandoms. There are seven seasons of stories, but! The seasons usually consist of 4-5 episodes and most episodes clock under a half hour, until the last season. So, this is based in the Star Trek universe during TNG/DS9/VOY and runs concurrently with them, to concluding after those shows. The show itself says to watch from the 4th season on, because that's when 'points for effort' became actual effort. You like character development? Got it in spades. Like when stuff blows up real good? Yep. Think mainstream Trek totally wussed out on having GLBT plotlines and wish someone would remedy that? Oh man, what you have in store ( ... )
