What about "Hands" as a theme? The theme somehow brings to mind (OK, my mind at least) the image of those two holding hands. Or what about "Beside You/Yuu" (I leave it to you to decide whether you want the pun) as another? I hope my suggestions help, and I will try to post more if possible. Thanks, and I look forward to December!

No, we don't mind it at all. In fact... Wow, I'm awed. Your interpretations to each theme are interesting. I espceially love 'storm'. Thanks for your suggestions!
I'm also new to Yullen Week. In fact, it's been since high school I've writtem creatively (that was many years ago. But the basic themes I was thinking about: Transformation, Surrender and memories which could also be similar to shiro101's history. For additional themes I liked the example hotel, but was also thinking on the lines of vacation and togetherness. Thanks hope this isn't too late to enter.
Haha, what do ya know, I came up with a few more that could be fun ^_^ Doubt and Trust might make a good theme-plus it ties in with the series as well because of the themes. Then Breaking Free or Imprisoned perhaps-feeling trapped with the walls closing in or not having a choice, it just seems to fit to me for some reason, at least where Allen and Kanda are concerned, what with Kanda's past and all. Another one that seemed interesting was Fire and Ice since that's what they seem to be like to me, Allen being warmhearted and caring where Kanda's cold and uncaring much of the time, at least on the outside, and then Forgiven and Forsaken are another two that just popped into my head, I think those are pretty self explanatory. Well, That's all I've got for now ^_^ Hope you like them. Might end up posting more some time, but not sure ^_^
I had another idea about a basic theme. Seeing it is both Kanda and Allen's birthday (and Christmas), what about something to do with Gift. It could be a material gift or a gift of themselves to each other. Just another thought.

So, do you want them all to be in the Basic or Optional Themes list?
