Please read the following rules and FAQ so that everything goes smooth and well. Thank you.
RULES
In terms of Discussions:
- Be nice and respectful, we all have courtesy, don’t we? ;)
- Please keep the topic in line, which means anything that isn’t related to Yullen Week is not allowed.
- Please refrain from using typing quirks during the discussion; it will make your post hard to read.
- Do not bash any character, pairing and/or their fans! Yes, this is Yullen week, but many people also like other characters/pairings, so treat them with respect.
- Still concerning the rule number 4, every provocative remark that may cause uneasiness to other people will be deleted without prior notice. If you see any potential offending subject, please contact the Moderators.
- No arguing about who tops or who bottoms here. We all have our own preference, so let’s not create a ruckuss out of it.
In Terms of Submissions:
- When submitting a fanfiction, please at least have them beta’ed.
- For every kind of work (fanfictions, fanarts, icons, wallpapers, cosplay photos, etc.), please state clearly about the following information:
- Rating
- Pairing (either it is Yullen, Arekan, or reversible)
- Theme and Day
- Warnings (if necessary)
- Your works are completely your responsibility; however please avoid making something that contains offensive materials, be it about other characters, pairings or even real persons/events that may cause provocative reactions as much as you can.
- Last but not least, since it' s a celebration, be sure to have fun! ^^
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Can I make something other than fanfiction? Because Yullen Week was almost always associated with fanfiction on Fanfiction.net.
Yes, you can. As we have stated on our profile, this community's purpose is to widen the scope of Yullen Week participants, so that any kind of work (fanfiction, fanart, icon, cosplay photo, wallpaper, etc.) can be submitted here on Livejournal.
2. Do we have have to stick strictly to Yullen? What about AreKan?
No, we don't limit your submission to Yullen. You can even make them reversible, just put a warning on your work.
3. I want to write fanfiction, but does it have to be romance?
No, you can make anything you want as long as it is about Kanda and Allen. Together. You can make friendship, bromance, family, pre-established stories... up to you, just put on a warning. Let your creativity run wild with less limitations :)
4. Do I have to submit all of the 14 themes?
No, you don't have to. It's totally up to you how many entries you want to submit. Though, we hope you can submit at least 7 themes and we'll give you a banner! Make all the 14 themes, and you'll get a special banner with a picture of your choice ^^
5. So I can make 2 submissions from the same theme?
If you have the ideas, why not? Each main theme is for 2 days, so you can submit your entries with the same theme within the 2 days period. But if you want, you can use the alternative themes we provide as well.
6. Can I mix my submissions? I'd like to make some cosplay photo, fanfiction and icon.
Absolutely! You can submit whatever you want. If you want to post fanfiction on day 1, a batch of icons on day 2, and cosplay pictures on day 3, go ahead!
