I'm so sick of the bad working environment and attitude people have towards it in this country. I'm tutting like Alan Partidge and all I could say is: "This country

The work ethic in Asia seems to be absolutely terrible! Some of our guys who have been shipped out to Korea to work on projects have complained of having to work late into the night, and I was amazed at how late we saw business people coming home when we were in Tokyo. I guess thats why sleeping on trains is a national passtime! I feel really bad for you guys, it has actually made me think twice about coming over to work... P.S. Naked man with a tie on his dick, probably not funny but I couldn't stop laughing when I read it... XD
It was truely a disturbing sight. The work ethic is terrible in Asia and it has made my friend really miserable. But... I still wanna work here cuz there seem to be more opportunities for me here. I've never been as proud as I am right now for being able to speak more than 2 languages.
Unfortunately what you're describing seems to be about the standard everywhere. I remember how you sometimes had to stay late to catch up when you were in Bristol too. People in Japan seem to have even less rights though because of the lessened emphasis on the individual. I could go on about it all day, but I won't. Treat your employers with the contempt they deserve. For every extra hour they make you work, steal stationery at the value of the going overtime rate. (In addition to the stationery you already steal to balance out your low pay of course.)
Well Jon, that makes things so complicated, because I'll have to do a lot of calculation. But it's a very good idea! I wanted some papers for drawing comics and I've been struggling to decide whether to take some from my school or not, but now I have a reason to! About my job in Bristol, I did stay late a few times, but my boss would always tell me to fill in the overtime sheet even though I said I only stayed voluntarily. So at least I got paid for what I did and got paid overtime rate as well.
