Crazy week? Not so far.

Well, things are slowing down this week. Thankfully Wednesday is an in-service day at my college, so I get to miss my day class. Unfortunately, not my late afternoon class ( Read more... )

Glad to hear the stress is lifting. It's really interesting to hear a student who WANTS more questions on a test because it means each question counts less. Believe it or not, most don't seem to understand that and if given a choice between 10 30-point questions and 20 15-point questions, most would go for the 10. I know because I've actually tried to give that kind of choice before. Without fail, they choose the shorter test. So ... less to grade.

What is it about classes like philosophy and psychology that are so fascinating? They do suck you in, even if you have no intention of ever doing anything with them. (And even when they drive you nuts. ^_^)

Enjoy your week!

That's really funny because every time there's been a choice in my classes about test length, all the students literally beg for more questions. And part of the reason why everyone who signed up for the midterm for my philosophy class was begging for more questions is because of how the class is set-up. We only have three homework/test options that our grade is based on in this class, and the midterm was one of my three that I chose.

And that is something I would like to know, lol! First it was Anthropology, then it was Linguistics, then it was Sociology, and now it's Philosophy! All I can say is that they give off some nearly incredible new ways to look at things. (Plus, philosophy is the only class I know of that encourages day-dreaming because it is called "a thought experiment" and is very legit in the realm of philosophy.)

Thanks, I hope you enjoy your week as well! :)

having stressed lifted up is always a nice feeling, I've been feeling good today myself. Math is the devil.. it's only important if you have letters like MP or HP before the number. With the part of the day you get to miss I hope you have fun, or get some extra work finished. Ya know whichever strikes your fancy..

Also.. I want to say false to that question.

That should so be the only time math matters! The world would be a much better place if it did. And I'm really hoping to get some sleeping in during that part of the day, which would be awesome.

And you would be correct. It is false.
