Well I finished the first of the requests for art/drabbles that people put on my journal... I like the way it came out, pretty much. I haven't drawn profile in a while, and it rather surprised me how well it worked. Anyway, here you go, ritalion.

Agh it's always the hair. The hair is always the part that frustrates me the most and leaves me going "oh fuck it i don't care anymore" and finishing all angry with it - and yet you always seem to like it. *fails* Hahah thanks. I think the lips are a style thing... I tend to draw everyone with huge lips because huge lips are sexy. Well most of the time. Collagen notwithstanding.

I just think his shoulder might've been too high or his neck too short XD
There's nothing else wrong since everyone has their own style and personal preferences ^_^

It's so pretty! *O* I love love looove love the hair a lot, and the skin, too. It's all very.. elegant.

My critique is that the nose looks a little large and awkward. ;3 I can feel you on the lips because big lips really are sexilicious, but, maybe if you make it.. more proportionate to the face, it would look less like it's overcoming the face.

Also, his ear should probably be bigger.. Actually, I think making the ear bigger would make everything else look about right. ^^;

lol the ears are always an afterthought for me. I need to pay more attention to details... and always, always I find that when you do something, you can never see the little things that make the overall picture look awkward (even though you can see it in everyone else's work haha). Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes, I have that problem too. (-o-) Or at least everything looks great until you finish and you end up freaking out because you didn't notice it was weird.. (Once I have someone five fingers and a thumb.. ;;; Just recently I made someone have a backwards hand.. Haha..)

I tend to leave out the ears a lot, just cover them with hair or something.. n_n; So if you don't like doing ears, that's a very good way to do it!

well for the purpose of this we can kinda say that luke's ear is half covered, because there's really no boney middle part yet, so it could be further down. Yes we'll leave it ambiguous lol.

And I can understand the backward hand, but the six fingers? That there is skill. 8D

Beautiful coloring and perspective ^^ The lip detail makes it look so different from any other fan art I've seen.
