So, I just ordered Uzumaki the movie and the first manga off of Amazon.com and I'm all giddy now. I wanted to order Ju-on (The Grudge) but it looks like they've got some kind of devilish pact with the film makers of the new American release, because Ju-on isn't available until November 4. Honestly I don't really have a problem with Sarah Michelle

I would be pretty pissed off if I were a Japanese director. Or actually just involved in an asian horror movie in any way.

Why does America have to remake every fucking horror film that gets popular? It's not like "Oh we're America, we can make movies better, Derf!"

Bleh I think it would be better if they just left it all alone.

American has only done Ringu and Ju-on as far as I know. Korea is the one who does it to almost every good Asian movie. heh. They did show Ju-on in American in limited areas. I'm sure if I really looked, I could find instances where they copied our movies. I think they did a couple "Sixth Sense" remakes.

The only Sixth sense inspired one I can think of is The Eye. Then again, I haven't kept up with asian horror at all. XD

And I think there are more movies America has redone, I can't remember them though. Maybe I was talking about the way we just steal everything from Japan and shit on it (Uh, Teen Titans, Totally spies. I'm going to kill myself.)
