[Discussion] KT-TUN around Asia tour and Jin in LA
I just read (probably like everyone else ^^’) the news about KT-TUN touring around Asia and Jin going to LA again and I must say, that I was rather surprised by all the comments I saw, and what the people say about it… Because I am actually kind of happy about all this… (am I weird? XD)
I mean, it's not as if they separated or anything like that! KAT-TUN is still KAT-TUN, nothing changed. Their just going different ways for a short period. (Really, from May until October is not that long… 6 month is nothing much considering they've been together for 4 years now!) Jin is living his dream, which makes me really happy, and the rest of KT-TUN get to perform a tour around Asia! They’ve made it really far, and I can’t help but feeling proud ^^ (even though I have nothing to do with it XD)
Both news are awesome and even if Jin'll not be part of the around Asia tour, it's still great for them to be able to perform in different countries.
Plus they were all ok with Jin not being part of the tour right? Therefore, if they are okay with it, I'm not going to be mad at them or anything. They choose it together, and honestly, I think I would have been mad at Jin if he had let slip such a unique chance in his life. Maybe it’s because myself, I am at a point in my life where I have a lot of decisions to do for my future, that’s why I can understand how difficult it must have been for Jin to make a choice like this. He probably is aware of all the criticism he’ll have to face. Everyone saying that he’s leaving KAT-TUN again, people will probably be blaming him for his selfishness and for letting KAT-TUN down when they have this huge tour coming up… There is a saying in my country (don’t know if it exists anywhere else) « between two egoism, choose your own » (does this make any sense? ^^’) He’s in such a situation. He has to choose between the fans who ‘selfishly’ want to see him during the summer tour around Asia and his own ‘selfish’ decision of going to LA again. (I’m not criticizing fans who want to see him though! I totally understand you’d feel disappointed for not seeing him J I would be too!)
But In my opinion, Jin is truly talented, and this talent shouldn’t be wasted. Don’t misunderstand, I don’t mean that performing in Japan is a waste for Jin!! They are already well known there which is awesome! But such an opportunity, for a Japanese singer is probably something that occurs once in a lifetime! And not taking this opportunity would have been a waste and he would probably have regretted it! Therefore, I’m truly happy he did accept, and got the support and consent from all the members and from Johnny-san.
It sure is sad, that KT-TUN won’t be with Jin on their Asia tour, but they are going to give their best like they did when Jin went to LA for the first time. It’s probably going to be hard for them too, so instead of sulking about Jin not being part of the tour, showing them support would probably be a better thing to do… Just like for the Cartoon KAT-TUN II You tour, they did just fine, so I’m sure they will manage it, even without Jin!
It’s a huge step for both (Jin and KT-TUN), and it’ll probably help spreading KAT-TUN’s music in the world!
On ma more selfish note, it gives me more hope to see KAT-TUN perform in Europe on day, and this would really make me the happiest girl alive! :D
