Regarding Doma: And kept Pegasus alive but Your Mileage May Vary.
I haven't seen too many episodes of Doma, but the reasons of hate (from what I have heard) include derailment of Atem and Mai (too much), Dartz being an overpowered villain, messing with the past by introducing Atlantis, messing up the origins of Duel Monsters (they were monsters living in people sealed in tablets, not spirits!), making Jonouchi a "chosen one" (he got where he got by his own strength).
I wish I could say my own opinion on the matter, though. *still stuck at the beginning of Battle City*
And Kaiba tends to be rather amusing - I know there was a line in volume 14 which made me totally crack up at it.
Nah, you aren't. As I said, Your Mileage May Vary.
Ah, I see.
Hmm. Interesting theory about the writers making up for Atem's dark side.
*nod* Yeah, cards do represent their owners.
True.
Yeah. I'm still at episode 5X something. Oh well.
"The Ghouls... Rare Card hunters who step on the hearts of those who love collectible card games... I'm going to smash their operation... and then I'm going to smash every single one of them, individually!"
I laughed so hard when I read that line. It's so... I don't know.
T-true, what you have told me about Pegasus in the manga has something for it, too, though, orz. xD
I just realized Doom makes often small references which they left out so far, for example that Honda is frightened of snakes or when Anzu tells to the normal Yuugi he doesn't have to change to the other Yuugi etc. xD
Ah yeah, and the Black Magician tends to act on his own (in the duel with Pandora) and so does the Blue Eyes frequently, so I guess the spirits can be seen kind of as left-overs.
You can do it! Although Pegasus only appears in one episode, if my mind doesn't betray me. xD'
