I miss LJ

*stares*

Apparently I bullied someone on Tumblr. Have I stumbled into a parallel universe?

... in other news, I am sad that Ayashiro Rea is leaving. Is it too stupid to write to someone you never wrote before, just to say "I loved watching you, sorry to see you go, have a nice life out there"?

I also miss being able to have civil conversations with people, because Tumblr gets pretty ridiculous. I worry about even poking my head into Twitter, as it seems so unruly T______T

And I think you should definitely write to Ayashiro Rea! Much better to say these sorts of things now than lose the opportunity, right?

Yeah, I love being able to picspam, but I love talking too (and I am afraid of Twitter, I just don't understand it).

I guess you are right) Somehow I always worry a bit that I write to too many people and that it's probably impolite or something.

That person is a troll. The person being bullied she brings up was actually her first identity in the fandom, emi-yano. I can even live with the "everyone is lesbians and Zuka does not perform masculinity at all" camp, but she is beyond my limit of tolerance.

Yeah, someone mentioned this to me already... I did think it's Emi's new blog when she appeared, but later thought it was just random similarity - didn't think anyone would go that far in creating another identity. Too weird.

Internet folklore, alas. I was weirded out the first time I saw this mechanism in action, which was like 15 years ago on Usenet...

I heard about this, but never actually encountered - and always considered it to be too weird to actually happen.

Thing with tumblr is that since it is open to everybody someone is bound to not agree with someone else and insted of discussing it in a reasonable way just scream you are bullying me

It's _really_ bad for discussions - wonder why it became the place of choice. I mean, we all love pics of our ladies, but still.

Maybe because for better or for worse it is easier to cross post photos and share opinions.

I think it's just that kerfuffles are more noticeable: if someone's on your LJ flist is having one, you won't notice if you're not in that particular comment thread.
