First we have kids shooting each other (that still happens by the way) and now we've got adults coming to school and shooting kids too. All this in addition to planning a curriculum to plan that now has to teach to the lowest common denominator (can't leave any children behind ya know) while satisfying the ultra-engaged middle class parents and their sense of entitlement.
To give you a better clue I'll share with you my heartwarming PTA experiences. This is the list of face to face encounters with parents on every end of the spectrum: - Parents who couldn't care less what you're teaching their kid as long as you pass them and or let them play - Parents who don't care what you teach their kids as long as it doesn't violate or contradict their religious beliefs
