Oh, I know, I know, I'm so spamming you guys. Soooorry. But I just ahd a walk and that song was randomly playing and I couldn't resist this little drabble >_<"
I was planning to write something for Tanabata, but as much as I'm spamming you with Tegomass I probably skip that v.v

However, on we go to the drabble.

Title: Song for you
Pairing: Tegomass
Disclaimer: Nothing's mine, all is yours.
Rating: G
Summary: How to confess, if you can't say it.
A/N: short, pointless. Sorry. Tegoshi POV.

Song for you

[I've been so many places in my life and time
I've sung a lot of songs, I've made some bad rhyme
I've acted out my life in stages with ten thousand people watching
But we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you]

A soft melody is filling the silence.
We sit side by side; I can feel your sleeve slightly brushing mine while I move my hand over my acoustic guitar. We both don’t say a word, you stare at the ceiling of the room, and I concentrate on slowly playing the guitar.

In a mute and soft voice I sing; all the words that were always hidden in my heart. I can’t say them, never could; so now I sing them for you.
Look at me once; listen to me carefully.

Can you hear them?

[You taught me precious secrets, The truth with holding nothing
You came out in front, and I was hiding
Oh, but now I'm so much better, So if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody, 'Cause my love’s in there hiding…]

You turn your head, watch my hands and then you close your eyes as you lean back again.
I keep singing, my eyes fixed on your face. But you don’t notice, do you?

Listen carefully.

I stop singing, only the melody fills the room again and a smile traces your lips. You look relaxed and satisfied; as if you were enjoying it.
Do you listen? Can you hear?

Suddenly, your eyes open and you turn your head, that gentle smile faces me now.

“It’s a beautiful love song, isn’t it?”

I return the smile slightly and face the wall then, trying to avoid your gaze. My fingers keep on slightly tugging the strings. “It is, indeed.”

I start to sing again.

[And when my life is over, remember when we’re together,
We were alone, and I was singing my song… for you.]
