Tanabata* Scenery
Crossing the clear silver of the Amanogawa (the Milky Way)
It is said that only once a year
Two stars meet
On the remaining three hundred and sixty-four days
I wonder, do they sparkle as they weep from the loneliness?
I don't think that is the case
For one to live, means that
The other is given life
And by giving the other life, means that
The other gives you life [in return]
The significance/meaning of both lives, shining together
The stars have pondered it, over tens of thousands of years
Pondering for tens of thousands of years, they whisper
-- Live, give life, be given life

*I'm not going to give a long-winded explanation about Tanabata because Wikipedia does it so much better than I ever could: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanabata
