. . . so.

Here are the portents.

Konomi Complex is set at an intersection of two leylines, one positive, one negative (which is, let's be honest, usually terrible enough.)

Mapping out energies for the area found a massive depression (the kind usually found at incredibly negative sites like mental hospitals and interment camps) from nearby ( Read more... )

. . . ^_^ I beg your pardon, Dan-san?

I mean, seriously. No offense meant, Yumiko-san, but this... isn't something that I can take seriously at all. Especially not coming from a grown woman desu.

A sceptic, Dan-san? Try not to approach such things with a closed mind. Leylines are, after all, at the very least scientific. ^_^

And I may be a grown woman, but I teach that something you can't take seriously at all.

Besides major surgery on Dan Taichi? ... I haven't the faintest idea ... I suppose the most simple suggestions are the best so... some well-placed plants and trees around the complex?

When are you doing this? I'd like to help out as well. Have you decided which types of trees would be best to cleanse the area?

There are many things that cannot be explained rationally. Religious faith and matters of the heart, for instance. And there are some fascinating studies and experiments lately that give evidence of all sorts of interesting things. I mean, even the military acknowledges limited astral projection (as well as the possibility of aliens) and police sometimes rely on psychic consultants.

And quantum physics experiments and theories have shown the existence of multiple dimensions, teleportation, and that the same atom can exist in two distant spots at the same time. And that's not even going into the newest groundbreaking stuff about cause and effect not being mutually exclusive.

... Ehehehe.

I miss you, Yumiko-chan.

Well, I'm not at the complex at the moment, so - not immediately, at least. Cedar, I thought, or willow, though Senri suggested yarrow.

Oh, please, as though there really are aliens. Even my belief has limits. Sengoku-san, I really must commend you, you are very carefully balancing the line of neutrality between myself and Dan-san.

^_^ I miss you too, darling. Are they working you very hard?

You don't believe in aliens, Yumiko-san? How surprising. Given the multitude of planets in the universe, it seems rather unlikely only ours would have developed living organisms.

I declare myself Switzerland! XD Seriously though, I'm always up for a friendly debate as long as the two opposing sides don't come to too harsh of blows and respect each other.

I'm of the opinion that varying supernatural beliefs can't hurt. And no one has yet proved to me that aliens exist, but that doesn't mean they can't. I believe in ghosts and spitits though. Some places and things just give of bad vibes and creepy feelings that can only be supernatural. And holy places of many religions really do have a calm, safe feeling about them.

Probably from the electromagnetic fields, as you said. We know animals can sense them because they respond to earthquakes and tidal waves even before they happen. Most humans have supressed that part of themselves I guess.

<3 Oh, very hard. So many meetings to finalize things in which my input is very small and some of the blowhards are quite boring and longwinded. But I'll be home tomorrow night! XD

... So either we all get kicked out and this place is converted to government housing...

or someone buys the complex and could still kick us all out (and demolish the place for a new mall) or drastically increase our rent.

These are not optimistic scenarios. D:

Finally someone sees the important bit .-. I know, it's rather alarming, isn't it? We've all become such friendly neighbours and moved in, more or less, together.

Let's hope some decent new landlord comes along then. -_- It's a serious concern.
