I am done with the goddam ap now i can do my art--i'm mad at myself for not being risky but my art teacher still got mad at me and then said A++++++ for nonconformity in a nonpositive tone what the fuck, all these mixed messages maybe you could send me some too

huh. i think that last 'expressionistic exploration into mark making' is the best one of them all, and also really looks like a parking lot thats somehow been brought to life. those upside down drips remind me of lamp posts. the other organic looking ones that are all gravelly are nice, too, and it seems like you had a pretty clear idea of what you were going for, which always helps. critiquing art is gay, with a capital g-a-y.

looking good, though.

you are tricky! BUT no no no it doesn't. I understand the winding path your mind took in terms of interest and focus but the leap from nonrepresentational gesso forms is far from scratchboard renderings and I was wandering what in your art making process prompted such a shift. For example, was the change due to a preconceived notion of how you wanted the forms to come about or from actual practice of the materials? Or was it a chance realization? or or or or? I AM CURRRRRRIOUS
