Friends ListI add people to my friends list without asking them. LJ has that handy little plus button that allows me to do this and I figure if you didn't want "unknown" people to read what you write you'd have it friends only. Besides, I usually figure that people, like me, check there info list to see who's added me so I can add them back

I have a filter for "really personal posts" and you're on it--a lot of people are. I also have (had) a filter for TTC posts and announced it a few times in public posts and put anyone on it who requested as much (you're not on it since you didn't ask, but it's no longer in use LOL). I only made that a filter because I went into a LOT of detail about my cervical mucous and temperatures and other technical fertility charting stuff and I just thought that it wasn't something that would interest everyone (and might gross some out). I make most of my posts friends only because I did the public high-traffic blog and I've had enough of it. I don't want a large audience.

Oh, also, I have hardly been posting lately. heh.

No filters on mine but all of my posts are "friends only" ... and for a very good reason...a girl I used to be friends with has been a nasty little troll on my blog for the last three years. Anyways, I like lj better then blogspot now that I'm here! There are cool COMMUNITIES!! weeeeee!

Thank you. This post pleases me a great deal. I've often wished that they had chosen to call "friends" something more like "journals I watch" and "user who watch my journal". "Watchers" and "Watchers" would have been nice and concise.

I have a few filters for various reasons. There's one for posts that only people locally would be interested in, one for very personal posts and one for obsessive thoughts about Hindi movies! I appreciate your understanding and sensitivity so you have not been excluded from any of my filters... except the one involving Bollywood minutiae that only hardcore fanatics would find interesting...!
