wow...its a lofty goal/ aspiration that you have set there jon...while i think it may sound good on the surface, i feel like this might be one of those things that are filled w/ technical issues and problems underneath the surface. perhaps proposing your idea to a publication is the first step cuz thered be no point in doing this if no one wants your pics.

I think it is an awesome ambition. It will take alot of work and motivation though. you will have to really fight for this.

Wow. I must admit I'm impressed with the thought you've put into this. The idea itself is worth while. But, I must agree with the former, there are many technicalities to be seriously considered. Sure, a plane ticket is easy to get. But, don't forget about the craziness of airports post 9/11. And, once you're over there, don't expect things to be dandy. You've got to eat something and live somewhere. I agree, the best way to do this would be going through a publication of some type. Surely, they've got more experience in this type of thing. And, when you think about that, you must consider the requirements a publication would expect you to meet. Its a great idea. Think about it a bit molre. Either way, I hope everything works out.

Hey. very brave and encouraging words. I don't know where to find the funds for that. But i'd be interested to find out. And i'm glad you'd rather take pictures than join the army only brutally murder and humiliate our "liberated enemies." so yeah very interesting and brave ideas you have. you rock!

personally, i think it's a great idea. i think that first you should prioritize though. college first. get the education i know you really want to get, contour it around what you think is going to be the best way, and then go for it. also, colleges are known for funding ideas like that. also, they provide a great opportunity for connections that might be essential. the only problem with that idea is that it might take time. on the other hand, just going straight for it might be a little rash without getting all of the pieces together. but go for it, just make sure you're ready for it all when the time comes.
