鸩:Poison Bird (1) | Chapter 3 Part 2
T/N: REPORT DUE IN 2 HOURS AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~!!!!
"Teach me independence from you, and teach me well. To need, as much as I am needed, and lesser yet." - A friend.
"No!" Jaejoong stubbornly refused.
"Something's up." Yunho said as he made a sign over his shoulders. Almost immediately, a bunch of men dressed in black suits appeared and surrounded them, bowing their heads as they greeted in unison, "Young master."
"Go and check which of these houses belongs to Jaejoong. Since he won't let us in, we'll find a way in ourselves." Yunho commanded, and a few of the men quickly grabbed hold of Jaejoong and started dragging him in the direction of his house. Yunho flexed his shoulders a little as he followed behind, seemingly satisfied.
"Let go of me! Jung Yunho, please, stop! Listen to me just this once, won't you!?" Jaejoong struggled as he pleaded.
But Yunho simply chuckled as he walked on, ignoring Jaejoong's pleas completely.
----------
"What, it's pretty normal after all! And I really thought that you were hiding something since you reacted so violently!" A very bored Yunho sat in Jaejoong's living room, fiddling with his violin as Jaejoong sat across him (was forced to). All the while, Jaejoong kept glancing anxiously at the clock, clearly distressed.
"Aish, right. It's getting late. You guys should head home now. I'll be sleeping over at my Jaejoong hyung's house, since there's Jaejoong hyung to take care of me. Don't worry about me, alright?" Yunho said to his bodyguards, emphasizing the words "Jaejoong hyung" in particular.
The men in black rose to their feet and left promptly. Once they were out of sight, Jaejoong immediately moved in front of Yunho and grabbed his shoulders. "Jung Yunho," he begged desperately, "Please, just leave. As long as you don't stay here, I'll do anything for you."
"Ya!!!" Yunho shook off Jaejoong's hands and shouted at him. "You're acting really strangely today. Why are you over-reacting like this? Just what's going on!?"
Just then, the sound of keys turning came from the other side of the door. Hearing this, Jaejoong's face turned ghastly white and he dragged Yunho, with a strength that he didn't know he possessed, into the nearest room and hurriedly closed the door.
"Jaejoong... I'm home..." A middle-aged woman stumbled into the house, clearly and deeply drunk. Jaejoong immediately rushed forward to support her. Although one could tell that she was definitely getting on in years at first glance, she still looked as beautiful as women half her age. The moment she saw Jaejoong, she immediately leaned onto him, cupped Jaejoong's exquisite face in her hands, and reached forward to kiss his cheek.
"Umma.... You've been drinking again..." Jaejoong responded stiffly as he tried to reject her advances.
"Jaejoong ah... Jaejoong... You're getting prettier and prettier everyday... Even prettier than your father..." The middle-aged woman turned and embraced her son, but her hands were moving all over Jaejoong's body. Her eyes were moist as they admired the beautiful face before her.
"Umma, why don't you take a bath? It's getting late and you should be in bed soon." Jaejoong tried to pry himself away from her as he steered his mother towards the bathroom.
"Bath....? Yeah sure... But Jaejoong ah, won't you bathe with umma? Let umma love you properly..." The woman rested an arm on Jaejoong shoulders as she prodded his face with her other hand, the innuendo clear in her voice.
"Umma... Stop this, please.... I... I'll go fill the tub for you..." Jaejoong carefully pushed the woman away from him as he tried to escape into the bathroom.
"What? You haven't filled the bath yet? Look at the time!! Did you reach home on time today? Or did you bring someone home with you?? Answer me!" The woman's attitude changed in an instant, her face contorting with hatred as she glared at Jaejoong.
"No, of course not! It's just that I felt really tired today so I took a nap..."
"Lies!! There's definitely something fishy going on! Did you let someone into our house!?" She completely ignored Jaejoong as she stumbled into every room, searching for the intruder noisily. "There must have been a visitor, and maybe that person hasn't even left yet! How many times have I told you that you're not allowed to let anyone into the house!? Why are you always not listening to me!!"
"Umma! Umma!! Stop this, please, there's really no one else here, umma. Believe me!" Jaejoong tried to restrain her and support her. Being drunk as she was, at that point Jaejoong's mother couldn't even stand properly on her feet.
"Let go of me! You must be hiding something from me, aren't you? Aren't you!?" The woman shouted at Jaejoong furiously, hammering Jaejoong with her fists. Jaejoong tried to duck while apologizing to her, "Umma, I'm sorry! I'm really sorry. It's all my fault for not preparing the bath before you got home. There's no one else here! Really..."
"I don't believe you!! You must be lying to me! You're really getting out of hand these days!" She continued flailing her limbs at Jaejoong, not hearing a word of his explanations.
Frantic, Jaejoong forcefully pulled her into his arms and whispered softly, "Umma, I love you. I love you and I would never lie to you. I didn't bring anyone home, because I was always waiting for you to come home to me!"
Maybe it was the embrace that managed to calm her down. The woman raised her hands to Jaejoong's face, asking softly, "Jaejoong ah... what did you just say? You said you love umma, right?"
Jaejoong lowered his eyes and hesitated, before nodding slightly.
"Say it again. Tell me that you love me once more!" The woman pleaded with Jaejoong.
"Umma, I love you."
"Jaejoong, I love you too!! You must always remember that umma loves you, and that you belong to me forever. You're not allowed to leave umma, and you must stay with umma together forever, understood?" She wrapped her arms tightly around Jaejoong's neck, as if she was afraid that he would escape. "Jaejoong ah, you must remember that you're not to be intimate with anyone, or being anyone to our house. You're only allowed to be with umma..." As she said this, she leaned in close to Jaejoong's ear and licked it lightly, followed by the temples, the cheeks, and then the corners of his mouth. Jaejoong closed his eyes, resigned to the woman's kisses and touches.
"Oi!!!! Let go of him, you pervert!!" OMG NICE TIMING YUNHO!! <3
Yunho voice thundered down upon them at that moment, breaking the silence like an explosion.
"Really... What the hell is this! I can't just stand there and watch anymore!" Yunho leaned against the wall, clearly disgusted by what he heard, and glaring icily at both of them who were frozen in shock.
"Who are you? What are you doing in my house!?" Jaejoong's mother questioned as she struggled to recover from the shock.
"Me? I'm an envoy sent by God to punish perverts like you, and rescue your stupid son while I'm at it!" Yunho smirked as he replied the woman, but his eyes were on Jaejoong.
"Jaejoong! Did you let a vagrant from the streets into our house!? I knew you brought someone home! Why did you lie to me?" The woman ignored Yunho and turned around, fixing an accusatory glare on Jaejoong while questioning him furiously.
"Umma, I didn't..." Jaejoong had no strength left to explain himself anymore. "Jung Yunho, I think it's better if you leave right now!" He tried to plead with Yunho again, giving him a pitiful look.
"I see... 'Jung Yunho'! Calling his name as if you were already trained to do so. You hoodwinked him into entering our house, didn't you? What have I always told you not to do!?" Jaejoong's mother looked as if she was ready to burst into flames, raining another round of torrential blows on Jaejoong.
Just as she raised her hand, Yunho rushed over and seized it, and then he pushed her roughly to the side.
"Say, old woman, you should know your place! I may be able to forgive you for beating and scolding your son in front of a stranger, but don't you feel the slightest bit of shame for sexually harassing him? Where's your pride!?"
Yunho knew his words had hit home as Jaejoong's mother was so mad at his comments that she literally turned purple, her lips quivering as she struggled for words. All this while, Jaejoong stood between them as he tried to push Yunho away, muttering under his breath, "Just go! I told you now to come, so just leave for now and some other day I'll..."
"You'll do what!?" The woman grabbed Jaejoong and gave him a tight slap across his face.
"Just where did you get acquainted with such a rude person, and what else do you have to say to someone like that!? Get him out of my house now, or I'm calling the police!!"
Before she could finish her sentence, Yunho shoved her to the ground. He would have beaten her to a pulp if not for Jaejoong's desperate attempts to restrain the stronger man.
"You still have the cheek to hit him, you bitch!? If you aren't a woman, I would have killed you there and then! Honestly, do you have shit for brains? Can't you read the situation? I wonder who's the uncivilized vagrant here, hm? You did all those disgusting, despicable acts, and yet you have the cheek to insult others!? Do you really have a death wish!?"
"Jung Yunho!! Just calm down, will you!?" Jaejoong tried his best to salvage the situation as he blocked Yunho. "Umma! Are you alright?"
"So that's it.... You two.... Get out!! Both of you! Get out of my house right now!! I don't want to see either of you ever again!" She sat on the ground as tears rolled down her cheeks uncontrollably.
"Umma, don't be mad, I'll get him to leave right now..." Jaejoong moved to help his mother up but she refused his help. "You too, get out! I don't want to see you!!"
"The real idiot's the one who would willingly stay behind with a crazy bitch like you!!" Jaejoong felt a pair of strong arms pulling him to his feet and, with those words, Yunho dragged Jaejoong out of the door, leaving his mother behind.
