I had a dream last night in which my nose stud broke in half and fell out in two pieces. It was terrifying. So I woke up and rushed to my bathroom, thanking all that is good that my stud was still there

I know! It's scary how the dream became reality, more or less. And it turns out the piercer is not working today, so I have to go back tomorrow...the hole in my nose has already closed over -- crazy fast!
I'm not looking forward to getting a needle stuck in my nose again, but I'm less looking forward to paying again. It cost about $40 the first time around. >< I'm going to have to be extra, extra careful this time around!
Oh, and I am no brave soul. :( I just REALLY wanted to get my nose pierced, haha.
Amagawd DX I dont know how nose-studs work. I looked it up and got really confused at the bent/spiral shapes O_O! So complicated !!!
See, when my boyfriend got his ear pierced and lost all of the lil metal things (and then reacted to the rest of the earrings), I had to re-poke them with a needle and put thread through them XD; I dont think you can do that with a nose though LOL O_O *sews up your nostril*
Yeah - nose studs are strange. They don't have backings like earrings, so they twist into the nose instead. It feels really weird. And I couldn't figure out how to twist mine back in, which was part of the problem I faced this morning...
I'm glad you fixed your bf's piercings! I don't think I would have the stomach to stab anyone else with a needle. :/ You're studying to be a nurse, though, right? So you're probably used to doing stuff like that. Still can't be fun, though. :(
Ugh, it stinks that it fell out. Did you get it re-pierced? Check out this website. It has nice piercing cleansers that will help with healing your piercing and stuff if you get it re-pierced. They also have some pretty neat jewelry, too. :O
I haven't gotten it re-pierced yet, unfortunately. :( I need some money before I do that. It's good to know that it didn't really scar, though. I mean, I can kind of tell where the hole was, but it healed up very nicely, so that's a positive thing. :)
I hope to see you again sometime soon! We need to hang out.
